Most tourists visit Seongsan sunrise peak and clime all the way to the peak. If you are not keen to clime up over 550 steps, there are various ways to get a great photos of Seongsan sunrise peak.
Ojo port and Siksanbong oreum
“Oruem” is a Jeju word for volcanic hill. From Siksanbong oreum you can have a nice view of Seongsan_ilchulbong. However, “hill” means you still need to climb up a little. So my suggestion is approaching from Ojo port. Not only you can have a nice photo like below, you can have a nice walk along a natural sea reservoir which is a habitat of migrant birds. Best moment is late afternoon before sunset. You will be able to take one of best photos of your life.

Gwangchigi coast
If you are an Instagramer, you might recognise the scene of below photo. Among Koreans, one of the most favourite spots to get a beautiful Seongsan_ilchulbong is Gwangchigi coast. The best moment to visit Gwangchigi coast would be during the low tide. You will see something beautiful on the beach that will make your photo more incredible.

Seopjikoji
Seopjikoji itself is a well known tourist attraction due to a beautiful scenery and the myth about the place. There is a one spot with a grand swing you can take a beautiful photo of Seongsan_ilchulbong.
